Govt. Boys Primary School Landhi No. 11 Organizes Health & Hygiene Workshop

Karachi (School Report):
In a continued effort to nurture healthy habits among its students, Government Boys Primary School No. 11, Landhi Town, Karachi conducted a well-received Health & Hygiene Awareness Workshop. The interactive session reached more than 100 students and focused on cultivating simple daily practices such as brushing teeth, washing hands before meals, wearing clean clothes, and avoiding the spread of germs.

The session was facilitated by a visiting health educator associated with a youth-led community group, Green Minds Pakistan, who guided students through demonstrations and real-life examples. Students learned how basic hygiene can prevent common illnesses and create a healthier learning environment for all.

Principal Madam Tasneem Kiran lauded the workshop, stating:

“It was a valuable learning experience for our children. They actively participated, asked meaningful questions, and showed enthusiasm to improve their daily habits. These sessions truly enrich the school experience.”

Children responded positively to the session.
Aznah Naeem, a student, said, “Now I remember to wash my hands before eating and encourage others to do the same.”
Fabiha Rashid added, “I’ll keep a handkerchief with me when I have a cold, and I’ve started eating more fruits to stay healthy.”

Miss Rubab Ali, a teacher at the school, appreciated the effort, noting that

“Students have become more mindful of personal hygiene. Such workshops make a lasting impact, and we welcome more of them in the future.”

The school administration extends its thanks to all contributors, including the community engagement efforts of Green Minds Pakistan, and remains committed to promoting health, responsibility, and life skills among its students through similar educational activities.
